She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel W. Scott and Eloise Scott (McDonald); her grandparents, Martha and John W. Brown; and her siblings, Sheila Wright and Kenneth Scott.
She is survived by: her sons, James D. Scott (Kowshara) of White Plains and Corey D. Scott of Newark; her siblings, Hazel Brown-White of Smyrna, Patsy Scott, Debra Craighead of Wilmington and Samuel R. Scott of Wilmington, Delaware; her grandchildren, Dominique Powell, Jameair Macklin-Scott and Cynthia Macklin-Scott; her great grandchild Xavier Macklin-Scott; her niece Manel Wright; and her friends, Barbara Spencer (Bolling), Charmaine Redic, Robin Swinger, Linda Giles and Bonnie Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
