She was predeceased by: her parents, Regina Krajewski (Zakrzewski) and Stanley Krajewski; her husband Walter G. Chechila; her brothers, James and Thomas Krajewski; and her brother-in-law David Chechila.

She is survived by: her children, Michael DePrisco (Debra), Andrea (Michael), Chris (Eric) and Lisa (Michael); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Heather, Tyler, Michael, Douglas, Daniel, Nicholas, Kate and David; her great grandchildren, Vincent, Joseph, Daniel, Everly, Summer and Ryder; her niece Kymberly; Linda and Randy Cooper.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Barbara's name to Delaware Humane Society.
