He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Hezekiah T. Harmon Sr. and Nellie R. Harmon; his former wife Beatrice A. Harmon; and his brothers, David Harmon, Bill Harmon and Hezekiah T. Harmon Jr..
He is survived by: his nephew Dwayne Yancey of Yancey Construction; his wife Joanne W. Harmon; his children, Carl E. Harmon, Jr., Sherrita Snyder (Darrell), Cory Harmon, Celeste "Kim" Tate and Kenneth M. Tate Jr. (Rita); his sister Patricia Smalls (Lester); his grandchildren, Darrell Snyder II, Nikea Draine, Kendra Tate, Kendal Tate and Alina Husarenko; and his great grandchildren, Ezra Laviea, Noah Hansen and Kaizen Thompson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
