It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caroline M Congo (Wilmington, Delaware), who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Jane and Benjamin Brown; her spouse Billie B. Congo; and her daughter Melanie Ann Congo-Driggins. She is survived by: her daughters, Latania Michelle Congo and Pamela Denise Congo (Craig); her grandsons, Ryan and Kyle Congo; and her siblings, Robert P. Brown and Eleanor Richards. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Canaan Baptist Church (3011 New Castle Ave, New Castle, DE 19720). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Silverbrook Cemetery (3300 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, DE 19805).
