It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine E. Burton of Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Hatch (Whyte) and Frederick Hatch; and her siblings, Margaret Emerson, Rachel Socha and Frederick Hatch.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Burton; her sister Mary Hatch; and her caregivers, Celeste Hendrix, Lisa Amato and Tawaina Pennewell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
