He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles Perkins and Abiah Hazel Shifferd; and his brother Stuart Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Mary Tina Palmer; his sister Virginia Perkins; his nephews, Sean and Justin Perkins; and his siblings-in-law, Annette DiEdoardo, Donna Mitchell, Michael Palmer and Alfred Palmer. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Charlie's memory to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or the Newark Senior Center.
