He was predeceased by: his parents, Ciro Poppiti and Lidia Poppiti (Cicatelli); his wife Louise Primus; and his sons-in-law, Joseph Betley and David Hoff.
He is survived by: his children, Regina Betley, Louisa Kathryn "Louryn" Hoff (Steve Joyce), Jane Scott (David), Joseph (Beth), Christopher Primus (Alyson) and Ciro III (Laura); and his brother Anthony (Kathryn). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resurrection Parish Church (3000 Videre Dr, Wilmington, DE 19808). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
