He was predeceased by: his grandparents, David and Carolyn Jefferson; his sister Kim Armstead; and his cousin Stacey Bishop. He is survived by: his parent Diane Marie McRipley; his stepfather Dr. Ronald J. McRipley; his children, Amanda Rogers, Venezia Armstead, Clifton E. Armstead, III and Lavenia Armstead; his sisters, Ronna Clark (Michael) and Diana Armstead; his aunt Beverly Hollins; his uncle Jerome Jefferson; his stepbrothers, Ronald (Sharon), Michael and Marc McRipley; his grandchildren, Amaris Rogers, Taliyah Lively, Amiyah Ellerbe, Tyriq Lively, Jr., Alana and Arya Winfield; his siblings' children, Megan Armstead, William Brisco, Vanessa Armstead, Robert and Jordan Dunham; his cousins, Rufus Scrivens, Jr., Emerson Joynes, Jr., Louis and Stephine Hoxter; and his friends, Vanessa Haman and Ashley Gibbs. He is also survived by great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.
