We are sad to announce that, on April 24, 2023, at the age of 80, Cormetia S. Sweetser (Wilmington, Delaware), born in Stillwater, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Corrine (Wiechmann) and Willis Homer McBride; her husband Phil; and her daughter Laura Samuel. She is survived by: her children, Mary Cooney (Brian) of Wilmington, DE and Michael Dunning (Maureen) of Wilmington, DE; her son-in-law Bill Samuel (Jean Rodenberger); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Monica, Trevor, Michael, Will and Abby.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Delaware Humane Society in honor of Cormetia Sweetser.
