He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl and Mildred; his siblings, Virginia, Doris, Kathy, Kenny and Ricky; and his godson Ray Halfen.
He is survived by: his children, Penny Edwards and David A. Edwards Jr. (Kathy Wise); his grandchildren, Landon (Ellie), Jordan (Ethan), Virginia and Abbey; his siblings, Carolyn, Denise and Billy; and his parents-in-law, Remy and James. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
