We are sad to announce that, on November 1, 2025, at the age of 78, David P. Haney of Wilmington, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Haney (Mahoney) and George Haney. He is survived by: his wife Helen Haney (Kaminski); his daughters, Jennifer Thomas (Jeff) and Allison Leizear (Dennis); his grandchildren, Alexandra Thomas (Michael) and Nathan Thomas (Erica); his brother Chuck Haney (Janice); his nieces, Megan Yash (Steve) and Shea Canup (Devin); and his nephew Matthew Haney (Mary). He is also survived by his great-niece and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus, Delaware State Council, 135 Princeton Avenue Claymont, DE 19703.
