David P. Haney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2025, at the age of 78, David P. Haney of Wilmington, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Haney (Mahoney) and George Haney. He is survived by: his wife Helen Haney (Kaminski); his daughters, Jennifer Thomas (Jeff) and Allison Leizear (Dennis); his grandchildren, Alexandra Thomas (Michael) and Nathan Thomas (Erica); his brother Chuck Haney (Janice); and his sibling's children, Megan Yash (Steve), Shea Canup (Devin) and Matthew Haney (Mary). He is also survived by his great-niece and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (901 N Dupont St, Wilmington, DE 19805). A Mass will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus, Delaware State Council, 135 Princeton Avenue Claymont, DE 19703.
