It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Carll (Wilmington, Delaware), who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Debra's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Debra's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Chance Joannides of Rochester, NY; and her parents, Peggy Marie Messick and James Joseph Messick. She is survived by: her husband Richard Carll; her sister-in-law Kathleen Carll (Peter) of Philadelphia, PA; her daughters, Ferris Joannides (Rich) of Rochester, NY and Laura Carll (Mark) of Wilmington, DE; and her grandchildren, Hope, Silas, Leia and Kaia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Newark Church of Christ and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
