He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Cooney and Evelyn Cooney (Corsack); and his wife Andrea Cooney. He is survived by: his daughters, Bernadette Cooney-Ball (Rich) and Maureen Cooney-Hamilton; his grandson Liam; his siblings, Patrick Cooney, Anne Coyle (Ed) and Bonnie Esposito (Bruce); his nephew Vincent Cooney (Deb); and his cousins, Joseph Lusi Sr. and Maria Lusi. He is also survived by cousins, and 33 nieces and nephews along with many friends.
