He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Monaco and Gulia Monaco; and his siblings, Anthony Monaco, Jack Monaco, Jeanette Szostak, Chenz DiMattia and Dora Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Anneliese Ruban; his daughter Rebecca Monaco (Dennis Filliben); and his brothers, Albert Monaco and David Monaco (Judy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
