With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris M. Hedrick (Wilmington, Delaware), born in Marshallton, Delaware, who passed away on August 30, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Cummings and Benjamin Carter; and her siblings, Francis Carter, Mickey Barton and Dorothy Parker.
She is survived by: her husband Charles A. Hedrick, Jr.; her daughters, Karen Gilbert, Linda Beaver (Ronald) and Michelle August; her grandchildren, Rhonda, Heather, Erin (Jeremy), Mark (Daria), Sabrina (Dan) and Barbara (Willis); and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Shayna, Grant, Braylon, Logan, Jackson, Benjamin and Bentley.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Mill Creek Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary, PO Box 5074, Wilmington, DE 19808-0074.
