Moore of Wilmington, Delaware, born in Chesapeake City, Maryland, who passed away on June 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. A. Thornton and Anna Mabel Thornton (Battersby); her son Maurice K. Moore, Jr.; and her siblings, Bud Thornton, Patsy Lyons, Baldy Thornton, Betty Brittingham, Bill Thornton and Mary Hurt.
She is survived by: her children, Mark K. Moore and Carol A. Moore; her granddaughters, Jennifer Moore (Dan) and Olivia A. Moore; and her great grandchild Kenny Austin, IV.
