She was predeceased by: her father Lewis Smith; her husband Ernest C. Watson Sr.; her sons, Rodney and Ernest Watson Jr.; and her siblings, Mattie Smith, Ella Mae Smith, Mary Haman, John West and Lewis Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelly Watson-Stewart (Kenneth Watson); her sister Margaret Anderson; her nephew Maurice Anderson; and her niece Paula Smith. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
