She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Grimes and Eleanor Grimes (McGrath). She is survived by: her husband James J. Forester; her children, Jeanmarie Desmond (Tim), Joan Forester (Dennis), Judi Golt (Steve), Julie Taddeo (Paul), Jill Frey (Todd), Jamie Weisenborn (Jason), Janet Chavous (Haven), Jackie Meer (Dave), Jim Forester (Amy), Jennifer Dunfee (Derrick) and Joelle Ryan (Sean); and her siblings, Joanne Brownlowe (Don), Francis Grimes (Barbara), Kevin Grimes (Linda) and James Grimes (Ellen). She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. John the Beloved Church (907 Milltown Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery (6001 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808).
