With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanor Ryan (Wilmington, Delaware), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Ryan to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her husband Donald T. Ryan; her sister Mary; her children, Kim, Mike (Cindy) and Rob (Sharon); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Alex, Michael (Kindra), Anna, Stephen and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Sloane and Josiah.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery (6001 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808).
