She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Farley (Thomas) and James Farley; her husband Otto W. "Bill" Schmid; her grandson Brian Moore; and her siblings, James Farley, Jean Delaria and Thomas Farley.
She is survived by: her pets, Nellie and Jumbo; her children, Mary Ellen Raymond, William F. Schmid (Nicole), Kathleen M. Schmid and Mary Strouss Moore; her grandchildren, Sarah (James), Tim (Roxanne), Anastasia, Rachel, David and Christina (Gunther); her great grandchildren, Angus and Elsa; and her brothers, Andrew Farley (Rika) and Michael Farley (Georgia).
