She was predeceased by: her mother Mary McCormack; her brother Robert Hunter; and her daughter-in-law Robin Peterson. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Lyle E. Peterson; her children, Mary Nelson (George), Brenda Boston (Randy) and Myrick Peterson; her brothers, William Hunter (Shirley) and Samuel Hunter (Margaret); and her grandchildren, Shawn Nelson (Abby), Christopher Nesbitt (Yuko), Joanna Boston, Bethany Boston, Timothy Boston (Kami), Caleb Boston (Carolyn), Kimberly King (Ken) and Randy Peterson (Samatha). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Berean Baptist Church, 2 Holcomb Ln, New Castle, DE 19720.
