It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn B. Chandler (Wilmington, Delaware), who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldia Mae Trader and Welcie Chandler, Sr.; her daughter Goldia (Janeen); and her brother Welcie Jr.. She is survived by: her son Marvin (Amanda); her grandchildren, Brandon, Ciara, Corey, Evan, Logan, Emily, Mariah and Marissa; her siblings, Darlene, Barry (Rhonda) and Angela (Terence); and her aunts, Doris Winsley and Marion Tinsley. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Charity: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity, Foundation Fighting Blindness or A Race Against Blindness.
