She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Carty and Rita Carty; her sons, Anthony Patton and Dwight Patton (Carlos); her siblings, Teresa Carty-Strickland and Irvin Carty Jr.; her grandsons, Vincent Patton and Anthony C. Patton; and her great grandchild Jahlil Patton.
She is survived by: her brother Michael Carty; and her children, Patricia A. Patton, Joseph H. Patton, Jr. (Ernestine), Carmella M. Hutt, Marcella M. Patton, Kenneth J, Barry E. Guy and Leslie R. Guy. She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 41 Great-Grandchildren and 27 Great-Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
