He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Virginia (Smith) and William Cushing. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Cushing (Brennan); his sons, Aaron (Michele Cushing), Josh (Andrea Cushing) and Freddie Cushing, Jr. of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Jill, Caitlin, Miranda, Jack, Abby, Colin and Dylan; and his sisters, Lillian Warrick of Wilmington and Kathy Widdoes (Dave) of Wilmington.
