With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gabriel F. Debartolomeis of Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Russell and Gabriel Debartolomeis Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Hedwig; his children, Tabitha Adams (Dana), Sue Broccoli (Tom) and Stanley Szczepanek (Noelle); his grandchildren, Kim Hoyle (Jeff), Steven Adams (Allison), Matt Broccoli, Justin Broccoli, Tyler Broccoli and Logan Szczepanek; his great grandchildren, Becca, Cameron, Ava and Wren; and his sister Geryl Riley. He is also survived by several nieces, and one nephew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Wilmington (1900 Delaware Ave, Wilmington, DE 19806). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
