He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita P. Johnson and Irving Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Miles Dean, Amber Gilmer, Gary, Myesha Gilmer and Yainni Gilmer; his siblings, Larry, Damika Johnson, Kim Bright (Kevin) and Achaleese Johnson; and his aunt Rosalind Johnson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
