It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gates Clarke Jr. of Wilmington, Delaware, born in Pullman, Washington, who passed away on May 9, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John Frederick Gates Clarke Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Janet Clarke; his children, Brian Clarke and Valerie C. Deely (Bob Wilson) of Newark; and his sister Carol Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to one of the following organizations, The Alzheimers Foundation or the Wilmington Stamp Club.
