Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gisela leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johannes Schrass and Katharina Rahm Schrass; her children, John R. Balmer and Patricia M. Balmer; and her brothers, Karl-Heinz and Walter Schrass.
She is survived by: her husband William Balmer; her children, James Balmer (Elin) and Barbara Nestore (Mark); and her siblings, Hans Schrass and Erika Karpstein. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
