She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Wilson and Harvey Laws; her husband Henry Middlebrooks; and her son Royal Thomas. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Thomas and Gary Middlebrooks (Angie); and her grandchildren, Gary Clark, Diashea Middlebrooks, Sequoia Reed, Donye Davis and Aroya Griffin. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends.
