He is survived by: his stepfather Ralph Emory Vannoy; his pet Caci; his son Harold "Chip" H. Dayton, III (Larry); his sibling's children, Fred W. Melchior (Carol), Everett Vannoy Priestley (Carol Anne), Patricia Hollyday and Lia Priestley Walker (Scott); his great-nephew Chad Ingram (Kimberly); and his caregivers, Shannon and Will.
