He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Spedden and Bertie Hubbard Spedden; his wife Elaine Spedden; his son Daniel Spedden; his grandson William Klingler, Jr.; and his sisters, Mildred Seward and Dorothy Hall.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Chambers; his grandchildren, Katie Klingler, Gabriel and Lincoln Klingler; and his siblings, Mary Francis Warfield and Maurice Spedden (Arlene). He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Richardson Park United Methodist Church (11 N Maryland Ave, Wilmington, DE 19804). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Taylorville Methodist Church Cemetery (11252 Adkins Rd, Berlin, MD 21811).
