He was predeceased by: his mother Elma; his stepfather Howard Breeding; his sisters, Joan McCullin (Bob), Barbara Carpenter (Gary) and Frances Abzill; and his pets, Bobo, Alibi and Sparky.

He is survived by: his friends, Al Reardon, Ed Sykes, Frank McGarrity, James "Timber" Tambourelli, Henry Lewicki and Charlie; his children, Devera Breeding Scott, Jeffrey Breeding (Michelle) and Christine Bowie (Ed); and his grandchildren, Alex, Alivia, Julia Scott, Emma and Andrew Bowie.
