She was predeceased by: her parents, Episcopal and Dorothy (Mills); her husband John Cunningham Thomas; and her siblings, Edith, Bill and John.

She is survived by: her brother Bruce; and her children, Paul Thomas of Willow Springs, MO, Jane Alford (Richard) of Newark, DE, Katherine Granfield of Wilmington, DE, Chinese (family: Fang Wu, Kevin Zhen Kang Sun), Xin and Annie.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Planned Parenthood of Delaware, or to Ozarks Food Harvest (Springfield, MO).
