She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Olson and Florine Olson. She is survived by : her husband Jack Liebal (Jack); her sister Patsy Ann Gray; and her children, John Liebal (Diane), Judy Cornell (Larry), Earl Liebal (Teresa), Linda Binkley (Rick), Mark Liebal (Linda), Keith Liebal, Kim Liebal (Rose) and Gloria Liebal. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Doherty Funeral Home (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2465 Chesapeake City Rd, Bear, DE 19701).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Hilda's name may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 4210 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.
