Potts and Cecelia Potts (Samuels); his wife Rose Marie; his children, Katherine Cecelia, Joseph Jacob and Jacob Ellis; his sisters, Doris Wissler (Ken) and Jean Viands (Lawrence); and his in-laws, John, Sandra Hazzard, William Hazzard, Kay, Tom Henry, Anthony Deldeo, Cathy Hazzard, Dona Hazzard and Marie Rossbach.

He is survived by: his children, John (Kathy), Timothy (Michelle), Neal (Brenda), Michael and Susan (Timothy); his grandchildren, Katie (Ben), Jacob (Whitney), Donald (Amy), Dominique, Megan (Shawn), Michael (Kristen), Christopher (Kelsey), Jennifer (Cole), Joseph and Julie; and his great grandchildren, Giovanna, Vincenzo, Anthony, Emily, John III, Oliver, Caroline, Daniel, Isaiah, Nora, Anna, Mason and Eva. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
