He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Hampson and Mary Hampson (Gilroy); his wife Mary Hampson; and his brothers, Patrick (Junior) and John Hampson.
He is survived by: his children, James S. Hampson (Pina) of Dewey Beach, DE, Patrick F. Hampson of Newark, DE, Anne Marie Frampton (Don) of Wilmington, DE, Maureen Carp (Ed) of Wilmington, DE and Michelle Hampson of Newark, DE; his sister Margaret Coldren of Doylestown, PA; and his grandchildren, Eddie, Connor, Megan Carp, Jimmy Hampson, Emma and Katie Frampton.
