He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whitby and Flora Mae Whitby; and his brothers, Danny and Clarence Whitby. He is survived by: his sisters, Floretta Gillette, Doris Whitby, Diane Whitby Byrd, Denise Whitby and Kristy Cromwell; and his siblings-in-law, Rose Whitby and Henry Byrd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
