She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter Quarles and Irene Quarles; her husband Harvey Alexander, Sr.; her grandson Quarlen Alexander; and her siblings, Louise Conkey, Alma Hackett, Marie Lum, Caladonia Quarles, James, Charles and George Quarles.
She is survived by: her children, Harvey Alexander, Jr. (Natalie), Felicia A. Darson (Thomas), Holly Alexander (Arturo) and Sherry Alexander; her grandchildren, Annelise, JaCecia, SaiSha, Aa'Laeiah, Gerald and Ny'Zaiah; and her great grandchildren, Devin, Aniah, Amani, Jacir, Jaidyn, Jaion, Maaliyah, Pierre, Nylah and Tara.
