She was predeceased by: her husband James King; her parents, Martin Thorpe and Sarah Thorpe (Emerson); and her siblings, William Thorpe, Harold Thorpe, Lewis Thorpe Sr., Donald Thorpe, Dorothy Thorpe and Sara Rose.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Thorpe of New Castle, Peggy Hall of Rehoboth and Geraldine Nowacin of Middletown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
