He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ford Harrell; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Youse Harrell; and his stepson-in-law Michael Welch. He is survived by: his sons, Douglas (Michelle) and David (Edris); his grandchildren, William and Elise; his former wife Caroline Bergman; his stepchildren, Candace Ford, Tracey Boddie, Needham, Nicole, Alexandra, Victoria and William Ford; his cousin Janie Harrell; Shannon Buynak (Sean).
