With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry W. Barnett of Wilmington, Delaware, born in Greenville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Michael Barnett; his mother Betty Greer; his stepfather Garv Greer; and his stepsiblings, Terry Greer and Cheryl Green.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Barnett; his daughter Donna Tearl (Jimmy); his daughter-in-law Kristi Barnett; and his grandchildren, James, Danielle Tearl, Ashley and Megan Barnett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
