He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Lawson Sr. and Mamie Lawson of Naaman's Creek Nursing Facility; his wife Kathryn; his children, Ronnie and Gretta Dorsey; and his siblings, Lucille Gaines, Florine Savoy, Mamie Johnson, Daniel Lawson Jr. and Sarah Thomas.
He is survived by: his niece Wanda Armstrong. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
