It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan S. Moorhead of Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Swierzbinski and Stephanie Swierzbinski; and her husband James Moorhead. She is survived by: her siblings, Paul S. Swierzbinski (Bernice) and Mary Mowday (Charles); her stepdaughter Adrienne Horsey; her stepgrandsons, Jacob, Logan and Zachary Horsey; and her nieces and nephews, Jacqueline Garcia (Edwin), Kathleen Swierzbinski, Natalie Swierzbinski, Matthew Swierzbinski, Anthony Swierzbinski (Liz) and Jeffrey Swierzbinski (Jennifer).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Joan's name to St. Catherine Of Siena Roman Catholic Church at the address listed above.
