She is survived by: her children, Stephen R. Miller, Katherine Yarrusso, Michael D. Miller, Keith Macartney and Pete West; her stepdaughters, Veronica Benson and Deborah Walker-Frick; and her siblings, Connie Taylor and Rege Ludwig. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests contributions in Joan's memory to Richardson Park UMC, 11 N. Maryland Ave., Wilmington, DE 19804.
