She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Nixon and Thomas Connell; her brother Robert Connell; her aunt Cecilia McKenzie; her parents-in-law, Agatha and John Szostkowski, Sr.; her sister-in-law Joan Hogate; her nephew David Morris; and her great-nephew Bryan Kosc.
She is survived by: her husband John; her daughters, Susan Peart, Kathleen Abbott and Karen Neubauer (James); her brother Thomas Connell (Chris); her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Piekarski, Barbara Morris (Ronald) and Joanne Szostkowski; and her grandchildren, Kristin McCullin, David L. Hall, Jr., Danielle M. Smith (Alexander), Ashley Peart, Ryan Lindgren (Sandra), Lauren S. Abbott (Justin), Brian D. Abbott (Mariah) and Regan Szostkowski. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
