We bid farewell to JoAnn L. Gordon of Wilmington, Delaware, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 27, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Lawson and Ruth Gallaher Wheatley; and her sister Anna L. Halcomb. She is survived by: her children, Sharon L. Rogers (Mark) of Wilmington, DE and Jack C. Gordon, Sr. of Wilmington, DE; her grandchildren, Joshua Rogers, Jonathan Rogers (Holley), Kimberly Burd (Justin) and Jack C. Gordon, Jr.; and her siblings, Burl "Sonny" Wheatley (Shirley), Lura Mae Wheatley (Pete), Geraldine Wheatley, Tina Cordill (Tony), Darlene Wheatley and Jacqueline Hubbert (Fred). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery (33 Elk Mills Rd, Elkton, MD 21921).
