She is survived by: her husband Richard Hucks; her daughters, De'Ownna Hucks and Rhonda Shanklin; her siblings, Michael C. Bentley (Vivian), Calvin, Russell, Arthur Showell (Denay) and Dorothea Showell; her goddaughter Nakia Freeman; her cousin Denise Robers; and her siblings-in-law, Ruby Wiggins (John) and Calvin Hucks (Dawn). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
