It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnne Ruth (Smith) Francisco of Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her husband Richard V. Francisco, Sr.; her son William A. Francisco; her grandchildren, Richard V. Francisco III, Kristin M. Andrews (Roger), Jonathan P. Francisco (Julieta), William A. Francisco, Thomas J. Francisco, Kathryn J. Francisco, Nicole C. Bolen (William), Alexander X. Francisco, Jacob V. Francisco, Taylor R. Haas (Casey) and William A. Francisco, Jr.; her daughters-in-law, Donna L. Francisco and Tina M. Votta; her brother Edward C. "Duke" Sowden (Pam); and her caregivers, Jeanne Deal and Diana Chandler. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
