With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John A. Koninis Sr. of Wilmington, Delaware, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Konstantinos Koninis of Tirnavos and Demetria Koninis of Sparta, Greece.; his daughters, Konnie and Christina Koninis; his brother Paul Koninis; his sister-in-law Connie Koninis; his sister Ana Millionas; his brothers-in-law, George Millionas and Nick Mallis; and his close friends, Don and Margaret Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Anastasia Koninis; his son John A. Koninis II; his granddaughter Alexandra; his sister-in-law Jennie Mallis; and his pet Benny. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
