He was predeceased by: his wife Mary "Louise" Carrigan Evans; and his father Charles D. Evans. He is survived by: his mother Mary McElwain Evans; his children, Mary Lou Barcome (Jeff), Thomas Evans (Phyllis) and John M. Evans (Yong); his grandchildren, Susan, Sonja and Richard; his great grandchildren, Lauren, Jeffrey, Mason and Chase; his great great grandchildren, Joseph and Evelyn; his son Ronald; and his sister Dorothy Earo.
